Our History

Founded by a group of people with in-depth expertise in the energy field and from leading industry players, EPQ was created to provide strategic advisory services and external agents for the start-up of new business lines for large multi-utility and energy-intensive companies.

 at the beginning of 2016 by Alfredo Di Caro and Sarah Jane Jucker, EPQ is uniquely positioned in the energy market, in support of energy-intensive companies interested in maximizing the value creation related to their energy assets managing all the variables at stake and the opportunities linked to regulatory and market developments.

The value creation for our customers depends not only on our expertise, but mostly on the ability to be creative and fast-paced in approaching the opportunities offered by a fertile environment and by a complex regulatory framework in constant evolution.

Demand Response: set-up of operations and dynamic management of both power generation assets and consumption units, both proprietary and third party. Gas Response: set-up of operations for flexibility services of natural gas consumption of large energy users, both individual and aggregated.

On the strength of significant economic strength and production capacity of energy from renewable sources, thanks to its hydroelectric power plants located in the Dolomites, the Dolomiti Energia Group becomes an EPQ shareholder.

Entry into the world of renewable energy producers with the acquisition of 28 MW of solar plants in Lazio, Abruzzo and Sicily and a pipeline of about 100MW.

Participation in the first pilot projects in the flexibility market to offer local ancillary services functional to the operation of the distributor's network.

Launch of the Electricity Consumption Reduction Service.
